Workshops

A Workshop is an easy and fun hands-on way to learn while at the same time meeting and making new friends.
We developed a workshop for Digital (and 35mm) camera users who want to go beyond the automatic settings. For those who want to learn how to set exposure and shutter speed; how to choose the right equipment whether a camera or lenses, use ambient light, flash and backgrounds to improve the quality of their images.

Our Digital Photography Workshop evolved from personal notes; in a way, it was intended as the Workshop I wish I had attended 20 years ago
Our workshop includes weekly assignments designed to implement what is being learned, challenge your creativity, composition and help you discover what your camera has to offer. Learn how to make your photographs more appealing and, finally, how to store and organize them on your computer.

With the same approach in mind, a Photoshop Essentials for Digital Photographers was also developed. This workshop is intended as a continuation of the Digital Photography Workshop and is main goal is to help Photographers develop a Digital Workflow, Enhance our pictures and/or correct them when neccessary.
We have formed a partnership with Roanoke, The Rising Star of the Metroplex, and will offer a Digital Photography Workshop and a Photoshop Essentials for Photographers at their Recreation Center on the following dates for 2010:
